As we get closer to kick off time for the NFC and AFC championship we also take a closer look at one of the games history making players, Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.
Brady and his wife, Gisele, who live adjacent to a championship golf course at The Country Club (a.k.a. TCC) in Brookline, Massachusetts during football season, are wheeling and dealing in New York City as Brady makes his 2016 reach for the Super Bowl.
In Manhattan, Brady and Bündchen plan an upgrade move to an under-construction 46-unit building, designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, at 70 Vestry Street overlooking the Hudson River (slated to open in 2018). Tribeca’s ultra-chic halcyon neighborhood will afford the couple the same privacy their future A-list neighbors Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper enjoy. It seems Brady and Bündchen are in a cloistered race for space and against their fame.
Their upper-floor, 5,000-square-foot Vestry apartment will offer spacious Daniel Romualdez-designed interiors and a sprawling terrace for their two kids while Tom and Gisele can delight in the waterfront building’s 82-foot lap pool; yoga, cycling, and pilates studios; squash court; and discreet amenities such as a gated automated garage and paparazzi-proof porte-cochère. The 14-story, French-limestone building is also reportedly near Brady’s other son with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan. The façade’s Beaumaniere limestone, quarried from the banks of the river Seine (south of Paris) permit the building to glow in the southwest sunlight.
With the NFL season coming to a close, expect the superstars to enjoy their time off making other real estate investments. And like their sports competitiveness and personalities insist, they go big or go home when it comes to the biggest, best and brightest properties in the world.
